Ca Na salt field
Ca Na is the largest salt producer in the country with an area of about a thousand hectares. It was once included in the list of the 15 most beautiful sunset spots in the world voted by Dailymail in 2016. With a history of more than 100 years of making salt from the French colonial period and the ratio of pure salt up to 95%, Ca Na salt is famous for its high quality and rich flavor.

With a circular terrain surrounded by mountains, this land is less influenced by southwest monsoons, creating an ideal dry climate for making salt. Also, Ca Na has a very special flow of water - the cold water flows move from deep areas to the shallow ones, replacing hot water currents, thereby contributing to the dry climate of the region. This phenomenon makes many nutrients and phytoplankton appear on the surface of the field and under the direct influence of solar radiation, activating photosynthesis and creating a diversity of food for marine animals. This is also the reason why Ca Na salt has natural whiteness and contains a rich diversity of minerals.

Coming to Ca Na, you will be surprised by the tens of hectares of white salt fields along the coast. Along the rocky outcrops on the shore, the local people create salt fields as white as snow, which has surprised many visitors. If you come here at sunset, you will be more impressed by the pink salt dunes under the sunset glow, creating a picturesque scenery. The white space with stretching sand makes this place even more captivating.
The level of saltiness of Ca Na is higher than other places (3 - 4%), so you can see the coral reefs under a depth of less than 2 meters at a position of 20 meters from the mainland.

Coming to Phuong Cuu salt field, visitors also have the opportunity to observe and learn about the completely-handmade salt making stages here. A day of salt making of the locals will start from early morning as it is scorching hot at noon. To make salt fields, the people will prepare the soil, soak the sand with seawater, level it, dry it on the land, water the seawater on the drying yard and sprinkle salt stimulants. When the sand dries, the crystallized salt will appear. The more sunny the weather, the quicker the salt is formed. In the vast scenery of the sea and the murmuring of waves, the image of the locals diligently producing each grain of salt creates a simple but beautiful working picture.
