What is special about Linh Quy Phap An pagoda?
About 11 years ago, this area was quite deserted with a few people living there and surrounded by thousands of tea and coffee trees. At that time, a monk visited this land and was so impressed with its natural beauty that he decided to choose the Hill 45 as the place to lead a religious life by building Linh Quy Phap An pagoda. After several renovations, it reached the scale which it stands today.

The pagoda’s design is a combination of Japanese and Vietnamese traditional architecture to create a majestic look with works such as the main hall, the lecture hall, the contemplation room, the three doors of liberation, and a number of isolated rooms scattered along the mountainside. The interior of the pagoda is made of wood with a solid structure in the shape of a gong rack, which is a traditional Vietnamese architecture. In the center of the temple is a solemn statue of Buddha Shakyamuni carved from white stone.

The pagoda covers an area of about 40 hectares, stretching through the surrounding forests, tea and coffee hills. This location is considered “the intersection of heaven and earth” with charming mountains and fresh air all year round. The highlight of the pagoda is the Sky Gate modeled after the Torii Gate of Japan - the work which is said to symbolize the transition from the earthly to the sacred. The unique detail of the Linh Quy Phap An’s Sky Gate is that you cannot pass through it due to its location on a high position, overlooking the vast space of the hill. Standing here will not only give you a feeling of touching the blue clouds floating in the sky, but also admire a panoramic view of the poetic mountains and hills of “the city of thousands of flowers”.

You should not miss the moments of sunrise and sunset at the pagoda. At dawn, the fog covers the mountains and hills, making the pagoda appear like a fairyland, while at sunset, the orange-red sunlight "dyes" the whole space and makes it like an ink-wash painting.
